Brad Delson

Bradford Phillip "Brad" Delson was born in California on December 1, 1977. Brad is of Jewish descent. He is the A&R Representative for Machine Shop Recordings best known as the lead guitarist of this band.
Brad Delson began his studies in Agoura High School with Mike Shinoda. He played in several bands throughout his high school career, and then he met the drummer, Rob Bourdon.
After he graduated in 1995, Brad Delson, Mike Shinoda, and Rob Bourdon formed Xero, which would become the begining of Linkin Park.

He entered UCLA in 1995 and became a member of Phi Beta Kappa, then he shared a dorm room with Dave Farrell (bassist) for three out of his four years at school. Delson also had the opportunity to intern with a the music industry member as part of his studies and finally working for Jeff Blue, an A&R representative at Warner Bros Records who was offerring constructive criticism on Xero's demos. Someday, Blue Later introduced Chester Bennington become their lead vocalist. After that, Blue later introduced  of Linkin Park to the rest of the band.
Delson decided to pursue a musical career with Linkin Park after he was graduating in 1999.
Chester Bennington replaced former the lead vocalist Mark Wakefield and Delson renamed themselves Hybrid Theory in 1999. By 2000, his band name changed, and Linkin Park was signed by Warner Bros. Records.
