Rob Bourdon

Rob Bourdon was born on January 20, 1979, in Calabasas, CA. He is the youngest member of Linkin Park. He began playing drums in elementary school after he attending an Aerosmith concert with his mother. He was introduced to his mother's friend who was a drummer of Aerosmith, Joey Kramer. And then he became inspired to learn the drums.

Rob grew up in the town of Calabasas, California, where he attended Agoura High School and he met future Linkin Park bandmate, Brad Delson. Rob and Brad formed their band called Relative Degree.
After the Relative Degree fell apart, and break up, Rob and Brad teamed up with schoolmate Mike Shinoda in the band Xero. This band kept existing even after high school was over  and finally become the multi platinum selling act Linkin Park.
The band debuted in 2000 with the album Hybrid Theory, going on to become one of the most popular mainstream rock acts in the early 2000s.
